China Unicom reservations for the new iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c have passed 100,000 units, reports Bloomberg.
China Unicom, which announced the volume of registrations on its official account with Sina Corp.’s Weibo microblog, hasn’t disclosed pricing plans for the handsets which are due to go on sale Sept. 20.
Notably, Apple has still not announced a deal with China Mobile, the country’s biggest carrier. However, sources say Apple is close to shipping devices to the carrier. It was recently granted the final license necessary to launch the iPhone on China Mobile’s network standard
