iPhone 5s Supplies Will Be 'Grotesquely' Low at Launch

Carrier sources are reporting that the iPhone 5s will be in very short supply when it launches on Friday.

Sources at multiple U.S. carriers said that the inventory of the new phone is significantly less than expected.

“We will have grotesquely unavailable inventory,” was how one carrier source put it.

Another carrier source confirmed ‘extremely disappointing shipments’ from Apple but also noted that demand for the iPhone 5s might be lower than expected. Apparently, the colors of the iPhone 5c have captured the eyes of customers.

The iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c will launch in stores on September 20th at 8:00 a.m.
