New photos reveal that Apple is making progress on its Austin, Texas campus project.
Reader Benjamin sent in pictures showing new buildings with mostly complete facades, a full pond with operational fountain, and completed fences, walls, and sidewalks around the front part of the campus.
Apple secured a deal to develop on three large patches of land next to its current campus in July 2012. The first stage adds 200,000 square feet of office space and will cost $56 million. The second stage is set to begin in 2015 and will add 800,000 square feet. The total price tag of the project is expected to be $304 million. It is estimated that 3,600 jobs will be created by the development.
