Beyond Verbal has posted a YouTube video demonstrating its emotion analytics software on Steve Jobs.
The software is used to perform an algorithmic evaluation of Jobs’ underlying feelings as he discusses the creation of the iPad and iPhone, notes the New York Times.
“Conflict between urges and self-control. Loneliness, fatigue, emotional frustration,” the ticker above Mr. Jobs’s head reports as he speaks. Moments later, it suggests a further diagnosis: “Insistence, stubbornness. Possibly childish egoism.” And then concludes: “sadness mixed with happiness. Possibly nostalgia.”
Beyond Verbal, a Tel Aviv start-up, is offering the technology to call centers who are interested in analyzing the emotions of their callers in real time.
