T-Mobile CEO John Legere tweeted earlier today that he is “excited” for October 22, along with a link to an article announcing Apple’s October 22 event — hinting that the carrier may finally have Cellular support on iPads. Just a few months ago, Legere hinted at more Apple products coming, so this comes as no surprise, and the carrier just started offering service on the iPhone 5 back in March.
Currently, T-Mobile is one of the only major US carriers to not offer cellular service on iPad, which is only available to AT&T, Verizon and Sprint users.

Apple is expected to announce the iPad 5 with improved internals and an updated design that looks similar to the current iPad mini. Touch ID is also rumored to hit the new iPad 5. The iPad mini is expected to get a Retina screen along with spec bumps.
