Sam Beckett has posted a new video to showcase his concept for Interactive Notifications in iOS 8.
A brilliantly executed and much needed feature, Interactive Notifications introduces action buttons for notification banners.
Currently, iOS 7 displays notifications as a static banner at the top of the screen. While useful as a reference, the user is unable to action the notification and respond in any way. Beckett’s concept provides a simple solution for users wanted to reply to a message or email without leaving the app they are currently in.

Quick question : how would an app know that its time to go back into the background?
Say once I tap on reply & the messaging app opens > and I send some replies back, what action would I take to go back to previous app?
Thanks!
