It is reported Pegatron received its first orders to start iPhone 6 production from Apple.
As is reported by Taiwan’s Industrial and Commercial Times, the manufacturer will be producing ahead of their launch in September and about fifteen percent of Apple’s upcoming 4.7” handsets.
This rumour showcases some other reports as true such as splitting iPhone 6 orders to two manufacturers Pegatron and Foxconn. Both of them rival to get a better deal, especially Pegatron being aggressive in its pricing. If the rumours are true estimated Apple’s order to Pegatron will reach up to 50 million units in 2014 which is about 40% more than last year.
No matter the producer fans expect to see a new design with thinner profile, rounded corners, elongated volume buttons along with performance improvements.
