Hamza Sood has discovered how to enable a somewhat functional dark mode in OS X 10.10 Yosemite Beta 2 via Terminal.
To enable the somewhat functional dark mode: sudo defaults write /Library/Preferences/.GlobalPreferences AppleInterfaceTheme Dark
To undo, either remove the key (defaults delete) or change it to “Light”

Or you can try this option
- Open your /System/Library/CoreServices folder by clicking Go >> Computer on the Apple menu bar, click your Yosemite drive then go to System >> Library >> CoreServices
- Right click SystemAppearance.bundle and choose Show Package Contents and Open Content >> Resources
- Rename “DarkAppearance.car” to “GraphiteAppearance.car”
- Open System Preference >> General
- Under Appearance switch from Blue to Graphite
- Logout and log back in
