Alleged CAD drawings of various iWatch components have been leaked online just a day before its expected unveiling.
The images were posted to reddit this morning and appear to show a comparison of parts from the P2B to EVT stage.
The device will purported feature a mic, speaker, and Siri. A flexible multi-touch screen is said to add a ‘new dimension’ to the user interface.
There apparently won’t be a lightning connector or other ports. The battery is said to last over a day and the device will allegedly be waterproof to about 20m.
This is said to be Apple’s ‘most complex and expensive product to manufacture’ to date. A timeline has yet to be finalized; however, mass production is scheduled to start in January.
Supposedly, there will be 8 models announced. Four colors and two sizes.
Take a look at the images below. The black component is reportedly the chassis. The round hole is for the sensor plate that will be in contact with the skin. The chunk that’s missing on the side is purportedly where the watch’s crown goes.
While we can’t verify the authenticity of these images with any certainty, the presentation does match the layout of official Quanta Computer documents.
Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 6 and its wearable device on September 9th.
