How To Pair Apple Remote Control in OS X Yosemite

Apple remote control can be very useful to control multimedia on your mac. You can buy it or if you own Apple TV you already have it and can be used even more.

Here is quick tutorial how to pair apple remote control in OS X Yosemite:

 

Step 1. Open System Preferences

Step 2. Go to Security & Privacy

Step 3. Click the lock to make changes. Type admin password.

Step 4. Go to Advanced button in the lower-right corner.

Step 5.  Go to Pair button

Step 6. To pair your remote with your mac press and hold Menu and Next buttons until paired-remote graphic appears on screen.

Now your Apple remote controller is connected with your mac.
