Apple added a new Tennis Channel Everywhere app to the Apple TV late Friday night.
The latest addition to the Apple TV brings both live tennis matches and on-demand content.
Users must subscribe to the ‘Tennis Channel Plus’ service that brings over 1000 hours of on demand content and 450+ live events. Tennis Channel Plus costs $70/year, $10/month, or $5/ day. The service also works on iOS and Android devices.
By subscribing to Tennis Channel Plus, you will get access to hundreds of hours of live tennis
throughout the year including ATP World Tour, WTA, Davis Cup, Fed Cup, and much more.
Certain cable and satellite subscriptions (such as DirecTV and AT&T U-Verse) also unlock some live content. Users who do not have cable/satellite, or do not have a Tennis Channel Plus subscription can view some match highlights and news for free.
