Apple gave us possibility to answer a phone call on Mac, or even on iPad with iOS 8 and OS X Yosemite.
In theory everything works OK and it’s helpful and great feature, but in reality you end up getting three rings for every call, each slightly time-shifted from the rest and if you answer on iPhone it still rings on mac.
You can disable calls on iPad or Mac to eliminate one of the devices or you can disable on your iPhone for all devices.
Disable Calls on Mac with OS X Yosemite
Step 1. Launch FaceTime.app
Step 2. Go to Menu > Preferences
Step 3. Uncheck the iPhone Cellular Calls checkbox
Step 4. Quit FaceTime.app
Disable Calls on iPad with iOS 8
Step 1. Go to Settings > FaceTime preference pane
Step 2. Tap the iPhone Cellular Calls to Off
Disable Calls on iPhone with iOS 8
Step 1. Go to Settings > FaceTime preference pane
Step 2. Tap the iPhone Cellular Calls to Off
This setting disables calls from going off on your other devices, so instead of turning off the feature on 2 or more other devices, you can just turn this off on your main iPhone and disable the feature on those other devices altogether.
