Here are instructions on how to jailbreak your iPhone 6 Plus, 6, 5s, 5c, 5, 4s on iOS 8.0 – 8.1.2 using PP Jailbreak for Mac.
We suggest upgrading to the latest jailbreakable firmware using iTunes. Here are download links for iOS 8.1.2. Please note that you must update using iTunes rather than Software Update. If you used Software Update you should do a backup then restore to iOS 8.1.2 using iTunes.
Step 1. Make sure that you have installed iOS 8.0 – 8.1.2, it’s recommended to have iOS 8.1.2.
Go to Settings>General>About>Version
Step 2. Go to Settings>Touch ID & Passcode (Passcode). Turn Passcode Off if it is enabled.
Step 3. Go to Settings>iCloud>Find My iPhone. Ensure the Find My iPhone switch is the Off position.
Step 4. Connect iPhone to Mac, launch iTunes and create manual backup.
It is very important that you remember to backup your device before continuing as you could lose your data if the jailbreak process does not complete successfully.
Step 5. Download PP Jailbreak for Mac and copy app to folder
Step 6. Run PP Jailbreak app
Step 7. You will notice the device is detected by the software. Uncheck the checkbox at the bottom left of the window then click the large button in the middle of window to begin your jailbreak.
Step 8. Click the large button to right to confirm you’ve disabled Find My iPhone and Touch ID.
Step 9 . The PP Jailbreak app will now begin the jailbreak process.
Step 10. Once the jailbreak has completed successfully, you will be shown a green checkmark, your iPhone will reboot and a Cydia app will appear on your Springboard.
Congratulations, your iPhone is now jailbroken!
