Consistent performance and continuous improvement: these are the fundamentals we should aspire to in the world of cloud software delivery.
We focus on ensuring our systems become more consumable, enjoyable and innovative. We seek to make customers’ lives easier and more productive through incremental achievements, and doing a better job, every day.
This commitment to positive growth is what we have always pursued at Logz.io, and that’s why we’re so pleased to announce that Logz.io has been named a Visionary in the 2023 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Application Performance Monitoring and Observability, based on our ability to execute and completeness of vision.
Leaning in with our Unified, Cost Effective Platform Approach
Since being recognized as a Visionary in the 2022 report we’ve been hyper focused on evolving the Logz.io Open 360™ observability platform. In fact, our formal introduction of Open 360 at the end of 2022 marked the culmination of years of development — directly supporting the unified observability requirements of our customers.
And we haven’t stopped there in our pursuit of delivering the key capabilities that our customers need most to address their most pressing requirements, such as maintaining visibility into their complex Kubernetes environments while tackling the pervasive challenge of overwhelming observability data volumes and related costs.
To that end, we also introduced our Kubernetes 360 observability solution – unifying the best of open source logging, metrics and traces in a single platform purpose-built for applications deployed in Kubernetes environments. More recently, we added security context to the solution via integration to the Aqua Trivy vulnerability scanning solution. The reception to this from both new and existing customers has been overwhelmingly positive.
Another primary focus has been our concentrated emphasis on making observability as efficient and affordable as possible, specifically bolstered by our launch of the Logz.io Data Optimization Hub. This added capability to filter log and metric data to reduce costs associated with ingestion and indexing addresses the biggest challenge among most observability practitioners today as they seek the precise level of observability that meets their unique level of maturity and budgets.
We’re doing everything that we can to ensure that customers focus on, and pay for only the data that matters most. In this way, we are powerfully differentiated from anyone else on the market.
We’ll Keep Pushing to Stay Ahead of the Market
Gaining this recognition from Gartner will push us even harder in working to introduce more powerful capabilities to address our customers’ needs.
Related to data collection, we’ve focused considerable effort around extending our Telemetry Collector agent, with new features arriving on a near constant basis — work that will continue in earnest. Next, we will introduce our innovative Services Overview capability that will greatly advance our customers’ abilities to maintain a high-level visibility into the performance and health of their services and infrastructure – building on the value of traditional APM products.
Additional capabilities for increasing time to value and further unifying logs, metrics and traces are of course another area of emphasis. And while we’re still the leading observability solution based on open source, we’ll continue to introduce unique functionality that goes well beyond the projects that we choose to incorporate.
We’re extremely proud to have this most recent recognition from Gartner and we’ll keep focusing on becoming even better — consistently and incrementally — just as the organizations using our platform work to improve and refine their own services.
