Photos have leaked online allegedly of the rumored 12-inch MacBook Air‘s lid and display.
The photos compare the MacBook lid to an iPad and a 13-inch MacBook Air. The footprint is noticeably smaller than the 13-inch notebook as rumored.
Unfortunately, the site was unable to verify the resolution of the screen; however, it’s said to be a Retina display. Sources also told the site that laptop is in mass production and will be released this spring.
We are unable to verify reports that the new MacBook will only have a single USB Type-C port as only the top portion of the notebook is pictured. However, one observation that can be made is that the lid features a polished Apple logo instead of a backlit logo. This may be to conserve space inside the notebook.
